Premiere: The Wheelers - "Tarantino"

The Wheelers hail from what they call the “Lonely Midwest of America”, a place commonly known as Iowa. The garage-rock outfit’s new self-titled LP, is out on the July 9 and we’re happy to debut their new video today. Cut from entirely public access footage, “Tarantino” is a frenetic joyride through fuzzy guitar and rabid energy. It’s one part Pavement, one part Pixies, and two parts whiskey.

The Wheelers is available for pre-order from Maximum Ames Records. Included is an advanced stream, a one of a kind photo of the band and a screen-printed poster done by Andy Schmidt of Starman Press. There will be a limited run of 300 hand-numbered records cut at 45 RPM onto clear vinyl.

If you happen to be at the 80/35 Music Festival in De Moines, stop by the Vaudeville Mews for an official The Wheelers release party tonight at 10:30pm.
