Last fall we premiered Espa’s ambitious debut EP, 150th & Broadway. Instead of solely riding the buzz of that release, the singer’s been busy working on new material in the months since. The first taste of her new music comes in the form of “Orbit,” a sultry yet soulful offering that’s a touch more uptempo than her previous efforts. With a confident narrative and solid production, it’s an impressive and enjoyable next step in the progression of her work.
