While I’m sure your Friday night was much crazier than mine—I spent it babysitting a 6 year old who mercilessly beat me in checkers five times in a row—no one’s was probably as interesting as The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne and Miley Cyrus’ Friday night. That’s because the rocker revealed on Instagram that the two were hard at work in the studio recording music together. Oh, and um, getting “high as fuck.”
This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated, as Consequence of Sound points out, the band recently joined Cyrus on stage in Los Angeles during her “Bangerz” tour to perform their hit “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.” And in case you were wondering what else a night between Coyne and Cyrus involves, apparently tattoos of the crying cat emoji:
