We've been closely following Topaz Jones for a while now, and with the release of his latest album Arcade, he's been receiving some well deserved praise for the infectiously feel-good project. Today, he's decided to bring one of the highlights from Arcade to life, sharing the vibrant video for "Motion Sickness."
As his music might suggest, the visuals for "Motion Sickness" are colorful and lively, effectively giving dimension to his unique blend of funk, soul, and hip-hop. He told us in an interview earlier this year that if "2016 in music has taught us anything, it’s that it’s time to not hold back any more," and this video is Topaz Jones doing exactly that.
"'Motion Sickness' is fun to dance to but it's also about the push and pull of relationships," Topaz told The FADER about song. "I wanted to represent that visually and show how any person who's been in your life stays with you in some way forever."
