We’re a week away from the release of Arctic Monkeys‘ fifth album, AM, but for the sake of those who are anxious to give it a listen, it’s currently available for streaming on iTunes. Serving up more of that raucous, gritty rock, AM is apparently inspired by Warren G and Mac Dre, but also Black Sabbath and The Groundhogs, with the band referring to the LP as “girlfriend music,” which is the music that “[their] girlfriends were listening to at school when [they] were into Dr Dre.” So fans, worry not: this record will certainly satiate your appetite for new Arctic Monkeys. Listen to the album, officially due September 10, at iTunes now.
