There are musicians and artists out there that make music that refuses to be locked in a genre. Philadelphia based band Dragon King and accompanying artist Asaad are apart of this masterful fold. This song GREY STARS is a cut of Dragon King’s upcoming album that I’m looking forward to hearing. Oftentimes when artists try to reach out and make “different” music it comes off as really just a feature and nothing more. But GREY STARS feels more like a collaboration than anything else. The instrumentation and vocals mold into each other to form one hell of a music castle. Personally I think it’s great to hear music like this. Check out Asaad’s bandcamp for some more good music.
