Top Dawg Entertainment founder Anthony Tiffith often takes to Twitter to answer fan questions when he has a chance, and his latest impromptu Q&A shed some light on a couple of anticipated projects from the label’s artists.
One user asked if Isaiah Rashad’s follow-up to his 2014 release Cilvia Demo is finished yet, and Tiffith responded that it is and it is currently being mixed. Rashad tweeted out in August that the album was finished, but there’s been no further news about the project since then.
Tiffith didn’t give much detail about Schoolboy Q’s upcoming album, but he did say that it is “coming soon” and that it should be out before the summer. The buzz around that record, the follow-up to 2014’s Oxymoron, is only growing following the recent Kanye West-featuring single “THat Part.”
