Ella Eyre - "All About You"

None

Since we first heard Rudimental collaborator Elle Eyre in mid-December with the gorgeous “Love Me Like You Do,” she put out the Deeper EP on which the song appears. Today, the BBC announced she’s the runner-up in their prestigious Sound of 2014 poll, priming her to have a massive year. To celebrate, Ella shares what looks to be the first track from her upcoming debut album, “All About You.” And if it’s not, it really should be. This is a breakthrough hit in the making, a proper pop song packed with so much soul and depth you’d think she was already a seasoned veteran like Sade rather than a 19-year-old on the cusp of fame. It calls to mind fellow UK singer Emeli Sandé’s—who also had a successful Rudimental song of her own—debut single “Next to Me” with its raw-yet-polished vocal performance.
