Watch Wild Beasts Perform "Wanderlust" With a Massive Pipe Organ

London’s Royal Festival Hall organ was installed in 1954. It had been out of commission since 2005, its 7,866 pipes unused due to structural concerns. But a recent two-year restoration process (and $15 million) brought the organ back to life, and Wild Beasts jumped at the chance to give it a try.

Keyboardist Tom Fleming is candid about his experience with pipe organs: “I’ve never played an organ,” he says, but luckily it’s not a far cry from his native piano. The above video (via Noisey) captures their performance “Wanderlust” inside the Royal Festival hall, organ and all.
