Get to Know Los Angeles Band Dutch Party With Their 'Astral Nights' EP

L.A. rockers Dutch Party have been buzzing ever since releasing two tracks in December. They’ve cornered the market for laid-back, minimalist funk rock, drawing on their native California for lyrical inspiration and letting those same vibes reverberate through the music.

Dutch Party’s Ken Franklin cites David Bowie and The Tallest Man on Earth as inspirations, and their presence is felt on the band’s debut EP, Astral Nights. There’s a full-length album coming this spring, and we’re honored to premiere their video for “Paper Moon” today.

Starring Holland Roden of “Teen Wolf,” the video follow a love undone. Haunted by a paper moon, things between Holland and her man slowly unravel over the course of the song until they part ways. Stream the video above and check out the EP and their next single “Storm of the Century” below.
