In all fairness: this is not an album of new material. It is, however, a live performance of some of Toro y Moi’s greatest hits, and we’re here for most everything Chaz Bundick cares to share.
The tracklist includes classics like “Buffalo,” “High Living,” “Ratcliff,” and “Say That.” The movie/album was filmed and recorded in three hours in Southern California’s Trona Pinnacles. “The desert in general represents so much,” Bundick told WWD, “because you go out there and you find out so many things are still alive and you feel so much smaller,” Bundick says. “I love that.”
