Franz Ferdinand took to the Letterman stage last night to continue promoting their upcoming album. Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action is due out August 27th. It’s the band’s first album since early 2009, and from what we’ve seen so far it’s a return to their debut form. The jangling electric guitars are made to get you out on that dancefloor as frontman Alex Kapranos’ tenor vocals caress the melodies.
The Scots performed what has become the main theme of the album on the show (check the video here), but stuck around for an installment of Live On Letterman where they expanded the catalogue to include the rest of their career thus far. You can stream that concert below:
