Elvis Costello has linked up with ?uestlove and the Roots squad for a mean little joint released today via Blue Note Records. It’s called “Walk Us UPTOWN,” a soulful funk jam featuring the Roots’ unique blend of trumpet, sax, trombone, tuba and electric guitar brought together with the gorilla glue of Questo’s backbeat.
“Walk Us UPTOWN” will be featured on Wise Up Ghost, the Costello/Roots collab due out September 17th. Stream the track below.
