Late last year Alice Glass announced her decision to leave Crystal Castles, but the band remained intact with Ethan Kath behind the production. Since Alice’s departure Kath has put out two new songs under the Crystal Castles name, “Frail” and “Decide,” with his newest singer Edith.
They played their first show together yesterday at Johannesburg’s SoundsWild fest and posted the photo above to their Facebook revealing the identity of the new singer with the note: “Edith Frances 1st show 1st time on stage, let’s show her luv xoxo.” The group also announced a new song coming soon in another Facebook post.
