Pleasant news today for fans of the indie rock/jangle pop group Real Estate. Late last evening the New Jersey-based quintet dropped off a bevy of exciting items including a stream of their new single “Talking Backwards,” the announcement of their third studio album entitled Atlas, and a list of their early 2014 North American tour dates.
The band crafted the follow-up to their 2011 release Days during a two-week recording session in Wilco’s Chicago studio last summer. It includes 10 songs and is described as “the band’s most collaborative, richly detailed album to date.” Look for Atlas to drop March 4 via Domino Records (pre-order).
