Apparently Daft Punk decided that everyone remixing “Get Lucky” wasn’t doing the track justice, and announced a while ago that they’d be releasing their own remix of the song in June. But now, a pre-order features on the French web store Fnac indicates that the version Thomas Banglater and Guy Manuel de Homen Christo have cooked up will be just over ten minutes long and that it will be available on vinyl in mid-July. Given the mixed reaction to their latest full-length Random Access Memories it will certainly be interesting to see what the duo do to stretch their Pharrell-featuring radio single into a lengthy remix.
