Flosstradamus' Mix For LFTF

1.

We’ve been talking a lot about Flosstradamus recently. It’s because the Chicago duo seems to be in something of a creative renaissance lately. They’ve always been mixing hip-hop and house with whatever else they could get their hands on, but it seems that their constant compilation of genres is finally getting the attention it deserves. We’ve been talking a lot about Live For The Funk lately, because they’re a great blog that you should check out but also because they help us with posts sometimes and have the best mix series in the game. This collaboration between FlossyD & LFTF is a must-download.

Flosstradamus have been making dance music with a hip-hop bent since their inception, which means they’re perfectly positioned to push this burgeoning trap movement to its limits. There are going to be imitators soon, but right now this sound is fresh and these guys are pretty much the best two doing it. This mix goes particularly hard for its 35-minute duration. I’d suggest putting it on and stopping whatever you’re doing; go buy a 40 oz cause you’re not getting anything else done today. It’s time to get reckless.
