Getting legendary electronic artists to do your movie soundtrack seems to be the thing to do today. Tron and Daft Punk, obviously, and The Chemical Brothers’ backing for Hanna was actually incredible. Judging from some new streams, Basement Jaxx might have them both beat.
The house duo is soundtracking Attack The Block, something I’m actually actually really excited to see – it’s about an alien invasion that runs into trouble when it has to deal with English kids from the ghetto – it looks great (check the trailer after the jump). And “The Ends,” the new Basement Jaxx track from the soundrack, is devastating. It sounds seriously amazing. We’ve got the stream below.
