The Cool Kids

Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks announced that they would reunite as The Cool Kids back in July, and they recently released their first collaborative track in five years, "Running Man." The song is the first official single from the duo's highly-anticipated upcoming album, Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe.

In a video interview with No Jumper, Inglish described the rest of the material on the forthcoming album. "I'm not going to lie to you, it's probably some of the hardest shit we've ever done," he says. "It's scary, low key. It shows you how much we probably missed working with each other."

Today, the two rappers shared their infectious follow-up single, "Connect Four." The hard-hitting track proves that Inglish was telling the truth during the No Jumper interview. The two rappers trade confident, dexterous verses over a minimal, percussion-driven instrumental. Both rappers explore a variety of flows, and switch between them seamlessly. The track's anthemic hook is easily one of the catchiest of the year. On "Connect Four," Inglish and Rocks prove that magic happens whenever they hit the booth together.

Listen to the track a day ahead of its official release below, and grab it on iTunes tomorrow. RSVP to the duo's Chicago Red Bull Sound Selects show here.
