While certainly slept on, the DMV is home to a handful of our favorite artists—Goldlink, D.R.A.M., and Innanet James to name a few. A more budding name in the mix is rapper Matt McGhee, who experiments with a range of rapping-and-singing approaches and unexpected, sometimes exotic instrumental effects and to keep things interesting.
The visuals for “CARNIVAL” take us under lampposts and city lights of LA, offering an ominous lens into one of his more anthemic, high-energy records.
