Its been a few weeks since A Tribe Called Quest dropped We got it from Here... Thank You 4 Your service and topped the Billboard 100. The record has also received critical acclaim, as well as selling over 100,000 copies in its first week.
The legendary Queens group appeared last night on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' alongside long-time collaborator Busta Rhymes to perform "We the People..." and "Dis Generation." The Brooklyn rapper contributed vocals to several tracks on their new album, with the particular standout being his verse on "Dis Generation."
The trio paid tribute to Phife Dawg, who passed away in March this year. pointing to the sky when his vocals were playing. The late rapper's wife recently confirmed that a solo project from Phife would be dropping at some point next year.
