It's been a productive year for Lil Yachty between dropping mixtapes, appearing in Sprite commercials, and receiving Grammy nominations, but he's showing no signs of slowing down. Earlier today, the Atlanta native dropped a new single titled "Terminator" that features none other than ASAP Ferg to celebrate a tremendous 2016.
With very similar flows, Yachty and Ferg work off one another beautifully. The two seamlessly trade verses full of highly quotable one-liners ("Your 'lil bitch's face is a sperm bank," for example) over a glitchy, ominous beat courtesy of Maaly Raw for a type of turn-up that burns a little slower.
Earlier this week, D.R.A.M. and Lil Yachty's "Broccoli" received a 2017 Grammy nomination for Best Rap/Sung Performance, an enormous feat for both young rappers. Take a look at the entire list of nominees here.
