It seemed that We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service would be the last we'd hear from A Tribe Called Quest, but that doesn't seem like that's going to be the case, as The FADER points out.
At the end of his interview with Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, Q-Tip revealed that, despite having said that We Got It From Here would be the legendary rap group's final record, A Tribe Called Quest "don't intend on stopping."
"That was Phife's M.O., 'this time we gotta do it and keep going,'" Q-Tip told Annie Mac during the interview. "He's left us with the equation of how dowe do it, but we're going to need it, and we're going to continue."
With everything said, Q-Tip didn't reveal as to when we'll be hearing that "other incarnation," but it's nonetheless great news for fans of A Tribe Called Quest. Last month, Q also teased a potential tour for the surviving members of ATCQ.
