Kool Keith dropped his return-to-form, guest-laden Feature Magnetic last month, including the MF Doom-featuring "Superhero." Now Keith has shared a video for the track, which you can peep in all its animated glory above.

Visually, the video pays homage to Doom and Keith's past aliases with some recognizable artifacts. Doom's mask rests at the center of the screen, transforming now and then into a mannequin head wearing surgical gear representing Keith's most famous alias, Dr. Octagon. Surrounded by gold/day-glo shrines and neon adornments , the hypnotic clip also includes dancing astronaut statues and a black toupee, a nod to another one of  Keith's many aliases, Black Elvis.

Director Kris Merc unpacked the trippy visuals when he wrote FADER about the video. “I wanted to capture something that felt like a visual pop travesty. I wanted it to visually speak to the legacy of the artists, and Afrofuturism mixed with comic book concepts. I’m a fan of the unseen, and I was obsessed with the idea of using DOOM’s mask and the iconography as a centralized point — as if time and space converged around these strange, sometimes magical tableaus and we were witnessing an ascension.”
