Jay Electronica Asked Fans To Help Collapse The Stage At Made In America

At the Made in America Fest in Philadelphia yesterday, Jay Electronica's set got so rowdy that police had to intervene.

At one point, Electronica addressed the crowd and challenged them to break the stage, saying, "If you're scared, stay down there. If you're not scared, come up here with me." He continued, "Let’s try to collapse this motherfucking stage. Let’s try to tear this bitch down." According to the Philadelphia Police Department, who were called after security was unable to control the crowd, "more than 1,000 people rushed" the stage.

It's been speculated that Electronica created this situation in response to Philadelphia native Lil Uzi Vert walking by Electronica's set and taking attention away from the performance. Watch footage of the incident, following which no arrests were made, below.
