Big Boi and Killer Mike Reportedly Working on Joint EP

As if this year hasn't been full of exciting collaborations already, Big Boi recently revealed one of his own that's currently in the works. The rapper recently caught up with SPIN in celebration of Outkast's ATLiens to discuss how the recording process of the classic album, his and André 3000's obsession with Cadillacs, as well as his own upcoming solo projects. According to Big Boi, he and Killer Mike are working together on a joint EP. 

"Me and Killer Mike, we're gonna put out a little EP," revealed Big Boi. "We’ve been entertaining the idea for a long time and finally got enough songs to where we just said the other night that we’re gonna do it." The project is slated to arrive after Big Boi releases his next solo record.

Of course, this isn't the first time that Big Boi and Killer Mike have been in the studio together; both have been featured on each other's projects. Big Boi appeared on Killer Mike's Monster and Run the Jewel's self-titled album, and Killer Mike was featured on Outkast's "The Whole World," Stankonia, and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, as well as Big Boi's Vicious Lies and Big Grams' self-titled albumJudging by their past collaborative efforts, a joint EP is definitely something worth looking forward to.
