Rumors have been heating up recently that Adele is a favorite to perform the halftime show at the Super Bowl in 2017, but supposedly, her nerves were keeping her from committing to the gig, which would make sense considering what she previously said about headlining Glastonbury. However, on stage in Los Angeles last night, Adele revealed that she just doesn't want to do it.

"First of all, I'm not doing the Super Bowl," she said. "I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don't really... I don't dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no."

The NFL supposedly told Adele that she could perform with friend Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic to help ease the nerves, but that apparently wasn't enough to persuade her to following in the footsteps of Beyoncé, Coldplay, and Bruno Mars.

Watch Adele break the news to the crowd below.
