After all the uproar caused by “Famous,” the next video off The Life of Pablo had to be monumental.
It is. In keeping with Kanye West’s current interests, the “Wolves” video is a black and white epic featuring Mr. and Mrs. West in glittering outfits similar to those they wore at the Met Gala. Vic Mensa and Sia also appears during his guest
The video also doubles as an advertisement for Balmain—the fashion house’s name appears at the end of the video, and much of the seven-minute visual is spent on a catwalk, while Kanye prowls between models before pausing for a closeup, tears streaming down his face. It draws an interesting parallel to the first time we heard “Wolves,” way back in February 2015. The song premiered during Kanye’s first fashion show.
