2016 has been a pretty quiet year for the elusive Jay Electronica, but there have been signs of life. In February he dropped “The Curse of Mayweather,” and then he appeared again for Chance The Rapper’s Coloring Book with a verse on “How Great.”
Last night, Jay Electronica surfaced again with a cryptic message that hints at more music coming soon. “The first part is called the “Pledge,” Jay tweeted, with a link to “Act 1: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge).” “The second act is called #TheTurn,” he continued. “This is where #TheMagician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something EXTRAORDINARY.”
“To all those who have been patient with me and supported me over the years, thank you,” he added. “And get #Tidal.”
