Last summer, I.L.Y, the side project of Death Grips members Zach Hill and Andy Morin, released their first album, I’ve always been good at true love. At the time it wasn’t immediately clear exactly what I.L.Y was, but in a Facebook post, the band confirmed their involvement with the record.
Now I.L.Y returns, and they’re once again surprise-releasing their new album. Last night Death Grips announced via Facebook that they had finished a new I.L.Y record and that they would “probably release it in an hour or so.” True to their word, a link to Scum With Boundaries appeared shortly after.
