De La Soul has been around for about 30 years, but the legendary hip-hop crew is still breaking new ground: They had never made music for a video game, but that’s changed with the release of “Action!,” which they recorded for the mobile game Angry Birds Action.

The “Big Pig Update” also adds “a one-week event hosted by the hip hop pioneers in their birdified form, granting all players unlimited energy as a special power,” according to Rovio, as well as 90 new levels and Piggy Island, an area that was previously only accessible by seeing The Angry Birds Movie in theaters.

“We are fans of the game, so we were very happy to be involved,” De La Soul’s Pos said of the upbeat, old-school-leaning song.

The group also just released “Pain” featuring Snoop Dogg, and they have a new album on the way, and the Anonymous Nobody…, which also includes contributions from 2 Chainz, Damon Albarn, David Byrne, Usher, and others.

Listen to “Action!” and watch the trailer for the Big Pig Update below.
