Radiohead appears to have offered an update on their upcoming ninth studio album, although nobody’s quite sure what it means.
UK-based fans who had previously purchased items through the band’s webstore received mysterious postcards in the mail recently, which read, “Sing a song of sixpence that goes / Burn the Witch / We know where you live,” and feature the artwork the band previously shared in March.
“Burn The Witch” is the title of an unreleased Radiohead song that is rumored as a possible track on the new album, and which the band previously teased live in 2006 and 2008. The band’s manager previously said that the album is scheduled for a June release, and the band will embark on a world tour that begins in late May.
