Rhode Island rapper Khary first landed on our radar back in December with “No One Knows,” where self-exploration was the theme of his message. Now Khary is getting ready to drop his mixtape intern aquarium. this spring, and he’s sharing another impressive offering from the project.
“Find Me” finds the rapper relentlessly delivering verse after verse over horn-laced, upbeat production. While on his previous track Khary discussed finding himself, here he’s learning to trust himself. Says Khary:
“The song is about trusting yourself. Having the confidence to trot down your own path without caring what other people are doing or even knowing what’s on the other side. I used to wait for others to validate me and that mentality held me hostage at square one. I had to validate myself.”
