Bibi Bourelly’s initial buzz came about when she wrote Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money.” She made her intentions clear, however, with the release of her debut single “Ego”—Bibi is a solo artist through and through, and she proved as much with a visit to our backyard during SXSW 2016.
Bibi performed two unreleased songs—the first one, “Love Me Fair,” is above, and it’s incredible. She has a totally unique style, with references to Kevin Federline and backseat fuckery somehow fitting like pieces from the same puzzle. Bibi has the kind of voice that doesn’t come around too often, and if this latest material is any indication, she knows how to use it. We’ll be posting the second song later this week.
