Jesse Rutherford is best known for being the frontman of California band The Neighbourhood, but he’s going in solo for this latest track. It’s called “Cell Phone Trap” and Jesse is releasing the song under the name “&.”
“It’s another extension of me… a ‘character’ if you will,” Rutherford explains via email. & is also the title of his upcoming book, which you can pre-order here. The book will officially be released on Valentine’s Day, along with another song. “Gonna do a song a month for the next year,” the singer says. “At least that’s my plan right now.”
