In case you haven’t heard about what’s been going on in Flint, Michigan, the city of about 100,000 people is currently dealing with a poisoned water supply. Jack White believes everybody should have access to clean water, so Third Man Records is raising money to help Flint residents in these trying times.
The record label started a fundraising campaign called Helping Hand for Flint, and all donations will go to The United Way of Genesee County’s Flint Water Fund. As of the posting of this story, Third Man Records has raised over $4,800. They are also hosting a water drive at their Detroit location through to January 25.
