Lil Wayne performed for a sold out crowd in Italy for Milan Fashion Week. During his performance of “John” for designer Philipp Plein, the rapper threw his mic down and stormed off stage for what was thought to be an unresponsive crowd.
According to TMZ they reached out to a Lil Wayne rep who explained the situation: “the rapper didn’t walk offstage because of the crowd, he was frustrated because the venue experienced technical difficulties and there were problems with his mic. For the record … it was a sold-out show.” Watch the footage above.
