Following a year in which he released an album, collaborated with Katy B and Floating Points, and remixed artists like Coldplay, Eric Prydz, and CHVRCHES, Four Tet is beginning his 2016 with a new joint effort.
Today, he shared a groove-laden new track called “Mothers,” which he made in collaboration with Australian producer Designer. The track stretches for nearly nine minutes and has the combination of electronic oddity and hypnotic effect that Four Tet lives off of.
Four Tet also posted another new track today, a collaboration with Champion titled “Disparate.” He wrote in the Soundcloud description of both songs that a 12″ single should be “available in all good record shops soon.”
