Leon Bridges has had a huge 2015. It started with “Coming Home” in 2014, a song that bubbled over into the new year and earned Bridges critical acclaim and a major label record deal with Columbia. With so many artists making mad dashes to find what’s next, Bridges’ retro style was a breath of fresh air—something that almost everyone could agree on, because who doesn’t like some good, old-fashioned soul?
Last night, Bridges finished of a strong year with one more big look. He performed on Saturday Night Live, playing “Smooth Sailin'” and “River,” both off his debut album Coming Home. Shout out to Ryan Gosling.
