If you’ve never been to a Goodwill, it can be a truly terrifying place. One time I dropped off clothes at the Goodwill in the Upper East Side and I saw a man get into a screaming match with an employee over a VHS player. VHS! Like dude let’s think this through first because where are you even going to get VHS tapes to play in that thing!

People are so illogical in that store so I feel for those employees. So much so that I can see the need for Goodwill to put the above picture in their employee manual to remind workers to remain cheerful. Regardless, some people didn’t understand and took offense to the chain using Kanye West’s face and this week, Goodwill apologized for the act.

“We’d like to apologize to Kanye West, his fans and the community for the use of his image to illustrate an internal training message,” a rep told TMZ. “It was unacceptable and Goodwill takes full responsibility for this action and meant no disrespect to Kanye.”
