Ibeyi consists of French-Cuban twins Lisa-Kaindé Diaz and Naomi Diaz, who proudly represent their Yoruba cultural heritage throughout their music. The duo just shared a video for “Stranger / Lover,” which features unidentified hands manipulating the sisters’ heads, a clever and visually engaging way of incorporating the song’s title into the clip.
Ibeyi’s self-titled debut album was released on February 17, 2015 and is available on their website. The duo is currently on tour in North America until early October, and their schedule can be found here.
