Were I forced to describe A$AP Rocky’s A.L.L.A in a handful of words, psychedelic would have to make the shortlist. Though Rocky touches on a number of different genres during his fantastic album’s runtime, one of the prevailing themes is his newfound adoration for acid and its accompanying saturated stylistics.
We first saw it in the wavy video for “L$D,” and Rocky stays on message today with “Jukebox Joints.” We catch up with the New York rapper in a retro soda fountain, which eventually dissolves into a pillowy dream world equally heavy on women and bright lights.
Most of the video is shot with a fish-eye lens, giving the whole affair an appropriately hallucinatory quality. Watch above, and look out for cameos from A$AP Ferg and Joe Fox.
