Meg Myers has come a long way in four years, but she’s held on tight to the raw, unflinching power of her songwriting. With her Sorry album coming this fall, Meg is revealing her polished studio sound one jaw-dropping track at a time.

“Lemon Eyes” is the latest, a booming track driven by electric guitar and some operatic falsetto. It’s the kind of crunchy anthem that takes listeners back to those pop-punk glory days, back when Billie Joe was running the airwaves and Y2K was going to kill us all.

But Meg’s songwriting has a unique edge that was missing at the turn of the millennium (all respect to Sum 41), and she’s turning heads as a result. Sorry drops September 18.
