Intended for Nas’ Life is Good, the track was assumed lost due to a "technological mishap" (seriously!?). Ocean told the New York Times’ Jon Caramanica that he would have recreated the track had he not been on a tight deadline for Channel Orange.

In June of 2014, the producer and rapper Hit-Boy shared a snippet of the track on his Instagram (which was later deleted). Hit-Boy would later tell MTV News that “Nas’ manager reached out, and he’s excited... that song is gonna be heard by the world one day.”
