So far, Kwamie Liv has had a pretty quiet 2015. We’ve been patiently waiting since 2014’s Lost in the Girl EP, and today the Danish singer-songwriter finally unleashes a new song called “Higher.” She told Fader, “I started writing ‘Higher’ on a piano in Stockholm, but it wasn’t until I was back in Copenhagen some time later, messing around between takes at a rehearsal, that the chorus came to me. I knew straight away that I wanted it to be my next release.”
The song starts with a slow build, but shout out to Copenhagen for inspiring the gorgeous chorus that eventually breaks. Check out “Higher” below, and read our interview with Kwamie Liv here.
