At first glance, Boots looks like a pretty unassuming human. Once his music starts playing, however, he assumes his true form—some sort of five-story arachnid/dragon hybrid that breathes fire and shoots soundwaves from its fingertips.
Boots went on “The Tonight Show” last night to continue promotion of Motorcycle Jesus, the short film that he stars in and soundtracked (with a little help from El-P). The song of choice was “I Run Roulette,” and Boots brought out his axe and two drummers for an explosion of light and sound. Epileptics be warned: the strobes are real, and they’re spectacular.
