While we were planning this Nirvana covers album, we reached out to ZelooperZ to do the cover art since we knew he was a talented visual artist in addition to being a dope rapper. He made the cover art for us (below), but to our surprise, he also sent this insane version of Nirvana’s “Negative Creep.” With brutal, punishing production by Bulletproof Dolphin and an unhinged yelp that would make Kurt Cobain proud, ZelooperZ delivered the wildest cover of Nirvana that we’ve ever heard.
He calls it “Negative Creepz.” Hear it below, and check out JMSN and Jeh-sea Wells’ contributions to the project. The full album, called Teenage Angst Has Paid Off Well, will be out for free download on Kurt Cobain’s birthday, February 20.
