I don’t know this for sure, but I think there’s some unwritten law that anytime a celebrity does an interview with their Mom, it’s pure comedy gold. I mean, how could it not? Moms are the best. This afternoon I called my Mom, who told she was in the middle of her “celebrity hour,” which is when she reads the trending topics on Yahoo! and watches Ellen.
Mac DeMarco’s mom Agnes is also just as entertaining. Earlier this month, DeMarco was one of the acts at the Laneway Festival in Sydney. While there, Faster Louder caught up with the musician and his mom, and challenged them to answer trivia questions about Mac. Some topics they discuss are: what undies he wears, which member of Metallica he would be, how he likes his eggs, and why he loves getting naked. So sure, you get to learn some rare facts about Mac, but really it’s some hilarious mother/son bonding. Watch above.
