Iggy Azalea is turning in her Twitter card, bidding her fans adieu after yet another volley of hateful invective was waiting when she got back from vacation. :(. This time it was photos of her in a bikini that set people off. Iggy, once again, paid too much attention to the haters.
Maybe it was the pizza boy that pushed her over the edge. Maybe it was how she tried to school some of hip-hop’s founding fathers on the music. Or maybe it was how every time Iggy tried to have real conversations, people just asked her to fix her nose.
Whatever the reason, this hiatus from Twitter is for the best. You gotta have rhino skin to be famous online, and Azalea has been acting like an eggshell. But parting shots were in order. Before turning over the Twitter reigns to her management, the Australian pop star made sure the internet knew that it is “the ugliest reflection of mankind there is.”
