If you’re plugged in to the world of new hip-hop, you’ve heard about Chicago rapper Lucki Eck$. Lucki has worked with big-name artists like Danny Brown and FKA twigs, but his most recent project Body High only has one feature: Ransah.
The feature makes sense—Ransah is from the same 197 Chicago clique Lucki runs with, and he’s got a similar approach to music. There’s nothing flashy about what he’s doing, but he’s got a way of melting into the production—in this case handled by the always reliable Plu2o Nash—and capturing an effortless, sedated vibe.
